At the same time as the project of expansion of meybod was being executed and also other development projects in Yazd was in progress, development of superior services,prosperity green economy, completing upstream and downstream supply chain that is based on a sustainable value chain that also relies on Yazd province itself; was a big priority. A big consideration of ours was to create a profit margin next to the focus of this industry considering Yazd has pretty great potential in resources, especially in the tile industry. On the other hand lack of a complete chain of export management with great access and vast presence and influence on the international level as one of the top 11 strategic industries in our country, was to be considered a severe weak point. That was, until we studied the tactic of using logistic hubs. And at the end, creating specialized export terminals for tile and ceramic was suggested to senior managers and owners of the ceramic industry. The scheme of creating ceramic and tile export terminals was agreed upon in March 2014 based on meybod and Yazd’s expansion and development studies and also strategic documents edited by the ceramic industry. After required studies; the export expansion committee approved it in Yazd and sent to the trading development organization of Iran. Investigations and expertise were carried out and the establishment license of this project was issued. After issuing the permit, legal measures were taken to hand over the site, and after handing over the area, After issuing the permit, legal measures were taken to hand over the site, and after handing over the area, we took actions to provide a comprehensive locating scheme, use, access network, and passages of the project. After finishing the required studies, along with presenting the plan and getting approved in Infrastructure affairs and logistics of field committee; it was sent to the planning council of Yazd province so that the project could start. The tile and ceramic export terminal is a 70-hectare field next to the railway station of meybod. From a trans-regional aspect, this place is located 15 kilometers from the industrial park of Jahan abad, 17 kilometers from the industrial park of Ardakan, taking ease of access to tile and ceramic manufacturers’ colonies in Yazd and even beyond the neighboring provinces into consideration. This part is being set up by an active private department. This terminal comprises newly built structures, facilities, software, and hardware equipment that does legal formalities of ratification of the contract, evaluation, introducing to the customer, storing, and exporting the commodity as fast as possible. Observation and monitoring of affairs, sorting and grading, transportation, instructions and education, marketing, and branding with the purpose of making Iranian tile and ceramic commodities more competitive are some of the important uses that we defined. By creating a network with greatest interests among all of the important elements of the supply chain; we can open a new chapter in international trading relations with the goal of expanding into the global market
